On the road from Orvieto to Costa d’Argento is Pitigliano, a small town situated in an historical territory.   The wonderful nature surrounds the ruins of ancient people who lived there, like the Etruscans and the Romans, but you can find also traces from the Middle Age.Jewish culture and traditions are not to forget: they are a very important part of Pitigliano’s history and therefore this town is still called „Small Jerusalem“.
